Visuals: The Missing Piece in Parent Coaching

Most BCBAs know the power of visuals for their clients — but fewer have applied that same approach to their parent coaching sessions. This course changes that.

Morgan van Diepen, M.Ed., BCBA, walks through the research behind using visual supports with adult learners, introduces three evidence-based alternatives to BST, and shares a practical framework for collaborative, individualized parent coaching. Earn 1 CEU.

  • Three alternatives to BST: Teaching Interaction Procedure, Teaching with Visuals, and the Teach-Back Method
  • How to individualize your approach based on each family's learning preferences
  • A behavior consultation framework for collaborative, priority-driven parent coaching
