Classroom Scavenger Hunt

This four-page start-of-year activity turns classroom orientation into an active task and comes in two versions. The picture hunt gives students a worksheet of illustrated essentials to find around the room, from the sink and sanitizer to the calm corner, calendar and supplies, checking each one off with a colored marker left at that stop. The checklist hunt uses written prompts instead: a Find It list covering the pencil sharpener, turn-in tray, classroom library, calm-down corner and line-up spot, and a Learn It section on lunch time, water and bathroom requests, early finishers, arrival and pack-up, and the class quiet signal, with blank lines throughout for adding your own.
