Daily Reflection Comic Strip
After a hard moment, the goal isn't to correct — it's to connect and build insight. The Daily Reflection Comic Strip gives children a structured, visual way to process what happened, name how they felt, and rehearse what they might try next time.
Designed by three BCBAs, this printable comic strip walks children through five simple panels: where they were, who they were with, what happened, what they did, and what they could do next time. Visual icon sets for each panel make it accessible for learners who struggle to find words in the moment.
This is not a consequence worksheet. It's a reflection and problem-solving tool built around curiosity rather than correction — with explicit guidance for adults on how to use it in a way that builds regulation, not shame. Complete it when the child is calm, keep it to 5–10 minutes, and accept every response as useful data.
Powerful for home, school, and therapy settings — and especially effective when families and support staff use it consistently across environments.
